Join ‘AINA In Schools and the Kokua Hawai‘i Foundation as we grow school gardens
and healthy students at Ala Wai Elementary! Parent volunteers are needed to:
- Teach or assist monthly nutrition lessons for grades 2 and 5.
- Assist with monthly garden lessons for grades K, 1, and 5.
- Assist weekly after school garden club, and help with garden care
(watering, weeding, etc.)
- Participate in Garden Party workdays to get the gardens ready for
fall plantings during school garden lessons.
